Kia Ora everyone,

CLiQ is the name of the new Community Living quality framework.

It stands for Community Living Quality. A quality framework is designed to tell us all how well we're doing at supporting the people that we're here to support.

Obviously it's really important that we have a robust framework for that. We're about to start gathering data for the new framework, and we'll start by interviewing people we support who want to take part.

There'll be a set of questions to answer and you can decide who helps you to respond to the questions. It could be a staff member, family member or someone else who who you trust to work through the questions with you. You may even decide that you'll answer the questions on your own without help, and that would be great!

The questions are all about your dreams and goals, the things that you like and things that you don't like, and how services could be better for you. You can tell us about your staff, your home and your friends.

The information that you give us will be really helpful in telling us all about the things that are going well in terms of the support that we provide, areas where we need to improve, and you may even have suggestions for things that we should start doing that we're not doing currently.

We're going to start with people who live in six of our residential properties. The interviews will start over the next week or so and we want to get this first round done by the end of September.

So if you live in one of the homes that we're coming to in the first part of the roll out we'll be in contact really soon to explain what we're doing and how you can participate.

You'll hear more over the coming weeks and months and we'll come back to you to let you know how we're going with progress.
