Therapy Services are a specialist team supporting people with an intellectual disability who also have a physical and/or sensory disability. We work in partnership with individuals and their whānau/family, caregivers, other health professionals and disability related agencies in pursuit of a quality of life that upholds dignity, comfort and independence.

We welcome applications from experienced therapists for a part time (0.8/32 hours per week) position to join our dedicated team in the Tauranga office. Your focus will be to support people and their whānau/families in their own environment to meet their needs and live their dreams. The role requires some travelling during work hours.

Requirements

  • New Zealand registered Occupational Therapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Minimum three years' post qualification experience
  • Sound clinical reasoning skills and use of evidence informed practice
  • Effective time management, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • High level of interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Experience using the Enable funding process (preferred)
  • Full current New Zealand Drivers Licence
  • The ability to pass a Police and CYFs check
